Orange County Real Estate Market Report – January 2018

As we’ve mentioned previously, in a “normal market cycle” prices bottom out in December and January.  So far we are seeing the same trend.  In December, however, there was a slight bump in listings which was most likely due to tax reform.  The stock market volatility of the last couple of days is also worth a watch, especially because much of it has been driven by the banks, interest rates, and inflation, all of which impact housing.
